Dream it, Plan it and Do it !

When we see great people achieving their dreams, it reminds us of our dreams. Rather than doing something about it, we waste a lot of time just thinking about it. Thinking alone will not get you there. To get something, you have to do something.

It is very easy to get lost in daily activities of life. It is very easy to forget why we are living. Do you remember the meaning of your life?

“The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” ~ Robert Byrne

Do you have dreams in your life? Then why are you wasting so much time waiting for miracles? Break the cycle. Stop waiting for opportunity. Create the opportunity. If success does not come to you, you go for it.

Everybody dreams but not everybody achieve. It all depends what you are doing for them. As I already said that thinking alone is not enough. There are two more steps: Plan it and Do it. Therefore, the rule to accomplish your dreams is:

Dream It, Plan It and Do it

Dream It:

You can call it having a vision for your life. You can call it having a dream or goal. You can call it having a belief that you have a mission in your life.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Dream big, so that you can achieve big. Never get satisfied with short-term goals. Identify your long term goals that you want to pursue. Your short-term goals should help you to achieve your destination.

What inspires you? What feels you with passion: Any profession or any hobby? Find it. Do you want to be a businessperson? Do you want to be a cook? Do you want to be a writer or singer?

Have a clear vision is important. It does not make sense saying that I want to be successful. Be precise. Have a clear title for yourself.

Plan It:

All right, you have a dream. You have a goal for your lifetime. It is time to plan it. Goals are just wishes if you do not assign them any timeline. Plan what process you are going to follow to reach there.

“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.” ~ Douglas H. Everett

Plan the steps and activities of your dream journey. Lay down the process on a paper. Once you write your plans, you mind will be focused on just the next step.

Often there are multiple ways to reach any destination. You have to find the best one. Keep learning. Read biographies of great personalities who have achieved similar kind of results. Plan a get together with like-minded people. Attend events and meet-ups that can help you with your goals. Until you find your way, keep exploring.

Do it:

It is time for the action. One you have plans on paper, you can start working on them. Without action, you cannot justify your decision. When we are involved with the planning, our mind can see the target. We find ourselves motivated to achieve goals as fast as possible.

Never take a long break between the planning and action. Your mind will start finding excuses. Keep yourself motivated by doing little every day. Actions will bring you close to your destiny.

“In any situation, the best thing you can do is the right thing; the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; the worst thing you can do is nothing.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt

If your actions assigned some timeline, they will help you track your progress.

Why people Fail:

The steps to get success in life are simple. However, walking on those steps takes some effort. Some of us stop at first step. We fear to dream big and doubt ourselves. Believe in yourself as you are the only you in this universe.

Some of us have dreams but they do not plan. They depend on the luck. They are purely dependent on the opportunities. They want to become overnight star. They forget that it took years effort on backstage for celebrities to become an overnight star. Do not seek shortcuts to success. Do not just wish for it, work for it.

Now, there are people who know their life purpose and steps to follow. However, they wait for perfect time. They wait until they will have more time in life to work on their dreams. Life is passing moment by moment. You will not get a moment back, once gone. Seize the moment. Make most of everyday.

“If you just keep dreaming your destination, it will not come to you. You have to take a path. You have to walk toward your destination. It does not matter if you have whole roadmap. Just take first step and your vision becomes clear for the second step.”
