Have Faith in God

Life is a beautiful journey. During the different phases of this journey, we experience moments that change our life. Sometimes everything goes so well that we considered ourselves luckiest person in the world. While sometimes, life gives us a plenty of pain that we doubt if we could ever get out of it.

“God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.” ~ Peter Marshall

When the going gets tough, we often look for the God’s blessings to get through it. We put our effort and wait for result. Sometimes we get through it and pay gratitude to the almighty.

However, it is not always that we get what we expected. Sometimes, no matter what we try, life seems to be never ending struggle. This is the time when we lose faith in ourselves. Even worst, we blame God for whatever happens.

We start believing that we cannot do anything about what is going on. Things seem out of control. Then two things happen. Either we lose faith in God or we have blind faith in God.

Have Faith in God (Faith vs Blind Faith):

Are you familiar with the difference of Faith and Blind Faith?

When we always see positive aspects of life and say that everything happens for the good. When we know that the God is with us and things will get better, we have faith in God.

“Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.” ~ Rabindranath Tagore

Now the question is how will things get better? Are you aware of your responsibilities along with having trust in God?

If you are doing the same things again, and believing, that God will do the rest. If you underestimate the power of yourself and get away from your responsibility and still saying, that God will do this for you. If you think that solely God is responsible for everything happening in your life. You are mistaken and you are having blind Faith in God.

Remember: God keeps account for our doings and it is our karma shapes our destiny. We can ask God to give us blessings but ultimately we have to take responsibility of our life.

“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Sometimes we say that everything has already written by god. This is another form of blind faith. Think for a while if everything is predestined, what would be the fun of living. Would not God get bored watching the predetermined lives of ours?

Take the Responsibilities:

God loves us. God cares for us. God can provide us power and strength to cope up with difficulties. However, it is essential to recognize our responsibilities and take control of our life. Therefore, trust God but do your own part well. Give your 100% everyday.

“God will never give you anything you can’t handle, so don’t stress.” ~ Kelly Clarkson

Everyone is responsible of his or her circumstances. If you are not living a life you always want, you have not played your role well. Do you think that your life is not easy? God (Director) gives a tough role to the best actor. Believe in God and believe in yourself.

Start learning and exploring your role and you will get better with the time.

Lucky vs Unlucky:

Based on what is happening in our life, we tag ourselves as lucky and unlucky. Tell me one thing why God will favour one and not another? How can God biased? He is not.

“I am a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more of it I seem to have.” ~ Coleman Cox

Everyone creates his own luck. Winners do not make excuses about their conditions. They do whatever it takes and achieve their goals. God helps those who help themselves.

Miracle happens:

Each of us wants to be successful but we are not ready to pay the price. Fortune favours the brave. Miracles happen but it takes time. You have to be patience. You have to keep going.

“I believe that miracles happen every day. Every person is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. If only we can open our eyes, we’ll see God’s love everywhere.” ~ Bo Sanchez

Life is too short to be lazy. Wake up and live a life of your dreams. I believe (as I have seen) that if you take one-step toward your dreams, God will help you with two steps. However, you have to take first step first.

Restore the Connection with God:

We are divine souls of the supreme power. We all have a close relationship with God. However, we simply forget it when involve with physical distractions around us. Spirituality always helps us to get high in our life. It is time to restore the connection with God. Let us pray god to give us strength to lead a happy life.

“Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” ~ Saint Augustine

Nice article, but I am struggling with ‘the harder I work the more luck I seem to have’ as it doesn’t seem to work for me. I used to believe in that, and I still do, but after feeling defeated so many times I am very tired. And yes, there is much more in the article, but still.

Anyone else has a similar experience?

    • Hi Guus, Thanks for the interaction here. You are right that sometimes we try hard but did not get success. It is important to take lessons from the defeat. Actually, There is no defeat if we learn something from it. The more experiment we make in life, we get better understanding things. All the best for your future.
